Pet Grooming Advice was created by pet lovers for pet lovers. The team Norma and Joe De Bloom currently live with one very intrepid, longhaired, beautiful cat – a ‘Heinz 57′ style moggie, as granny used to call cross-breeds (back in the day, the Heinz range was proudly made up of ‘57 different varieties’ – geddit?). Looks like butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth but operates in fully armed hunting mode, despite a constant supply of good kitty food. Believe us when we tell you we keep an eye out for tics, worms, wounds, parasites and the frequent arrival of (often sadly doomed) squealing wildlife through the cat flap. Previous pets & pet sitting roll call have included some gorgeous dogs, including our all time favourite pet-sit kiddo, Hoog the super-sized German Shephard. There have been more cats, of varying temperaments, crazy-happy-teethy-sharpy-oh-hai-mom-that-your-leg? kittens, a proliferation of gerbils, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs and some fish.
